I almost had a heart attack when my sister told me she was just going to take the kids to JC Penny for some portraits. So instead I convinced her to come down to San Diego so I can photograph my two favorite nieces! After our shoot in Old Poway Park we headed done for some goodness at the Corvette Diner.
I happened to be shooting a Bar Mitzvah at the Hyatt last week when the coordinators of the Physical Sciences Oncology Conference were setting up and basically hired me on the spot to shoot for them the following few days. I gladly arranged my schedule and spent the next few days at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla photographing talks on cancer research by the nations top physicists and doctors. Too bad science was not my forte in college because every bit of information went way over my headed. I still enjoyed getting some great images for the clients and knowing there was some amazing stuff being done to fight cancer!
I met Jamie almost two years ago now. She was one of my very first headshot clients when I was first turned my photography business into a full time career. Now engaged to be married to Mike, she asked me to do her engagement photos! I couldn’t be more happy to be working with such fun people!
As photography has consumed my life as of late I’ve had to put my acting career on the back burner, but that didn’t stop me earlier this year from securing a talent agent right here in San Diego. Shortly after signing with Baron Entertainment my agent announced that she was an engaged to be married. I guess it was fate then that led us together and now the first role I’ve landed is photographer at her wedding! Had a great time shooting an engagement session with Lori and her fiance Adam in downtown San Diego and look forward to their wedding this summer!
Met up with Joel, a Grossmont College professor, today to do some actors headshots for him. He has such a great unique look that the camera loves, very much enjoyed this shoot even with a few sprinkles from the clouds above.
